Embassy of Finland is looking for a professional housekeeper for the Ambassador's residence in The Hague for a fixed term contract starting 1.3.2017 or as agreed. The position is subject to Dutch terms and conditions of employment.
Housekeeper's duties include the upkeep of the residence and care of the linens, organizing the official functions, including purchasing of food supplies and other materials and hiring the waiters and other staff as needed, as well as cooking for smaller official functions. The employee is also expected to perform other duties related to this position in addition to those mentioned above.
We require relevant training and work experience in organizing high level official functions as well as flexibility and good co-operative skills. You may also be required to work in the evenings. A driver's license is an asset.
Good command of Finnish and/or English is required, knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
The candidate is required to pass a security clearance before recruitment. The applicant must always give written permission for the clearance (law 726/2014).
